Ever since she was a child, Fallaine has always found fulfillment in helping others. She realized that this attribute would be at the core of her purpose in life. Always having a great deal of interest in health & wellness, this would lead to an initial interest in medicine. Jumping from wanting to become a doctor to wanting to become a massage therapist was not much of a stretch. It would still entail helping others but would align more with Fallaine’s beliefs and values, recognizing and exploring her passions in the domain of holistic medicine. Fallaine excelled in massage therapy school, graduating from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy 2200-hour program with Honours in 2020. She took her studies very seriously and has carried this over into her work ethic by continuously improving her practice. Since graduation, she has gone on to complete continuing education in prenatal, relaxation (jade stone) and deep tissue (basalt stone) hot stone courses, as well as, her favourite adjunctive modality of fire cupping. Fire cupping has allowed her to integrate a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to help her clients further with reaching their health and wellness goals. Additionally, she is certified in Seminars for Health Orthopedic Massage course. This course taught her how to further develop and master her soft tissue manipulation, palpation and connection with the musculoskeletal system. Outside working hours, Fallaine enjoys working out at the gym, spending time with friends and family, and taking care of her two fur babies. Fallaine is excited to grow her client base with the Healing Tree Wellness Team by promoting relaxation and an over-all sense of wellbeing through massage therapy.

I always dreamed of having a career that involved aiding others in achieving optimal mental and physical health. Thankfully, I have been able to practice this modality for the last 10 years. My massage education was a challenging time that inspired me to create a strong foundation of the fundamentals and principles of massage that I practice everyday. I am trained in myofascial silicone cupping and am a Usui Reiki level 2 practitioner. I am deeply passionate about family, nature, meditation, creating and being of service to others. Over the years I have been truly fortunate to work on a large variety of ailments of the body. I would say my strong suits would be prenatal massage, full body relaxation and chronic/injury related conditions especially in congruence with the neck, shoulders and hips. My treatment style is a combination of sport/therapeutic and relaxation. I enjoy the ability to accommodate to any situation. I strongly believe that Massage Therapy can aide in the greater health of the human body affecting us in a physical, mental and physiological manner. I work hard to treat everyone to the best of my ability or to recommend someone who is better able. Massage is much more than a job to me; it is an essential part of life.

Are you wondering what Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is and if it’s a fit for you? Please reach out to Linda for a complimentary 15 minute virtual consultation at linda@healingtree-wellness.com.

Craniosacral therapy is a light, gentle, listening touch therapy. The craniosacral touch is gentle enough for babies and older persons. Linda became interested in it 10 years ago after her husband died. Her craniosacral therapist told her that her body felt like one that had just had major surgery. Linda thought she meant spiritually. In reality, she was tuning into much more than that. Not yet well known or understood or researched, Craniosacral therapy engages the musculoskeletal, nervous, hormonal, and all the systems of the body in a wholistic way. During a session, an overactive or underactive nervous system can find an optimal level, and all body systems function better. In other words, the effects of stress diminish. Each session is different because it is based on what the body is saying and doing in the present moment. Together, you and the therapist tune into where it needs support, and healing is directed by your body’s own health and intelligence, the innate intelligence that first showed up when you were developing in utero. How do you and the therapist help your body? By acknowledging what’s going on, observing without judgement and allowing your health to restore you. Craniosacral touch is incredibly potent. Some have called it nutritional – Linda agrees. It nourishes your body. You may be noticing you’re not able to get the benefits of touch, especially in these COVID times. Linda believes that Craniosacral therapy is not just a treatment where hurting people feel better, but an introduction to living with calmness, self-caring and awareness. Linda’s intention is to be of service to you physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. She especially enjoys working with arms and hands, pregnancy, and trauma. Craniosacral therapy also goes hand in hand with counselling work.
